Not a Silky Road: A Path to Growth in Asia
Ada Mockutė Jaime, Chief Marketing Officer at Nordcurrent. Ada has more than 13 years of leadership experience across tech, finance, aviation, and consumer goods, she is known for driving data-led growth, brand transformation, and customer-centric strategy in competitive international markets. Today, she focuses on scaling global game franchises, merging technology with community, and building digital products into cultural platforms that extend far beyond the screen.
After successfully scaling across the United States and Western Europe, Nordcurrent strenthened their expansion into Asia - company’s titles have climbed to #1 iPad game rankings in markets such as Indonesia and Malaysia, and even China.
But Asia is not simply another growth region. It operates through distinct platform ecosystems, unique consumer behavior, and communication models that differ fundamentally from Western markets. How do you adapt a global brand for audiences shaped by entirely different digital environments? How do you build relevance where visibility, influence, and engagement follow different rules?
At CMO Summit Vilnius, Ada Mockutė Jaime, Chief Marketing Officer at Nordcurrent — a Vilnius-founded mobile game publisher with more than 800 million downloads worldwide and a portfolio of globally recognized titles - will share the company’s expansion journey into Asia, touching on platform ecosystems, audience expectations, and communication differences compared to Western markets. The Comparison Trap. Why the Biggest Enemy of Growth Is Looking Sideways
Linas leads BPN - the #1 ranked media agency in Lithuania (RECMA) and part of IPG Mediabrands - working with the largest advertisers across the Baltic region. With deep expertise in media strategy, data-driven planning, and brand growth, he has a front-row seat to how marketing leaders make their most consequential decisions.
Working with CMOs across categories, Linas has identified a pattern that quietly undermines growth: the obsession with looking sideways. Share of Voice benchmarks, competitor creative audits, reactive media moves — the marketing industry has built an entire infrastructure around comparison. But what if this “strategic diligence” is actually the biggest barrier to building distinctive, high-growth brands? In his talk, “The Comparison Trap,” Linas will challenge the default instinct to benchmark everything against competitors and make the case for radical inward focus — investing in your own value proposition, your own segments, and your own distinctive assets. Drawing on real patterns from working with the region’s leading brands, he’ll offer a practical perspective on how CMOs can break free from the comparison cycle and redirect energy toward the work that actually drives growth.
